This morning, I was listening to music on my iPhone when the screen started acting weird. It was slow to respond to inputs. Then, the screen froze up and then went blank. At the same time, the music I was listening to stopped playing. The battery was fully charged, and I have had this phone for only a month or so. I cannot get the phone to respond to anything except when I plug in my charger, and it gives the "charger connected" tone. I've left it alone for several hours now and still no luck. Any ideas as to what is going on here?

Did you try a complete re-boot?

I cannot get it to turn off or on.

Did you try the two finger approach?

Hold down the "Home" button on the lower front of the phone, AND the "on/off" button on the top of the phone SIMULTANEOUSLY for 10-15 seconds.

If the red slider to shut off the phone appears, don't touch it, but rather keep holding down those two buttons until the "off" slider dissapears.

Let go of those two buttons, and after a moment press and hold JUST the "on/off" button on the top until the apple appears, then let the button go. It will boot up from there.

If that doesn't do it, sounds like a trip to Apple.

Thanks. It's working fine again. Any idea what might have caused that?

No, but a glitch like that is not un-heard of. Mine has done strange things 1 or 2 times since I got it quite a while ago (second day of release).

If it does it constantly, or you find a certain series of events that can reliably repeat the problem, that might be signs of a more serious problem.

If you downloaded an app(s) just before it happened, delete that app(s) if it keeps shutting down.

Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it helps any, I was using an app that was streaming the audio from a local radio station. I hope this will be the ONLY time this happens.

Do this as well click the circle twice it'll bring up the running applications you want to end them by doing this...Double tap a application to where they are all moving at the same time then tap the red/white circle it'll clear the app then clear all the other apps running in the background it some what the phone down but not much.
