eh you can make fun of it all you want.. keep in mind though android needs 50 different models to compete in sales and usage..

Considering that it is a completely different sales model, I disagree. If android had been a collaborative effort of the current manufacturers and they had only released ONE device, I firmly believe that there would be MORE users than there is now.

But it is pointless to make these statements because Android is an open source, community driven, operating system, and Apple is a closed source, do-what-apple-allows-you-to-do type of system.

Not much different than a blackberry plan... I really liked my blackberry, but I think RIM is done. They were incredible back in the day, but they found one thing that they were good at and refused to change. By the time they did, it was too little, too late.

And I fall into the other catagory, I have a corperate BB, and a personal iDEN BB and DESPISE both of them. I am just waiting for RIM to go under, that way I get a different corperate mobile device, as it stands, my better half is going to be receiving her iPhone 5 next week, and I will inherit her 4.

Sad thing is that I can not even sell my personal BB, it is utterly worthless, and losing value by the minute. At this point I could not even pay someone to take it away!!!

Its different for me, for an iphone plan near me it averaged $115 a month (not even unlimited) for my blackberry with wifi hotspot, its $68.85 a month (includes unlimited everything) with out the hotspot add on, I'd only pay a flat fee of 58.85, taxes included. CANT BEAT THAT!

I agree with this.. I will probably never own another blackberry again. I owned 5 of them though. In the end I don't care what other people want to use as there phone. However whether you use bb, iPhone, or Android, all the plans seem the same.. I do know that you have to pay a premium to connect it to a BES server but thats an extra cost to bb. You can connect a iPhone or Android phone to exchange without paying the carrier anything extra.

thats weird.. here in Wisconsin no matter which smartphone you have the plans are the same with the exception that bb needs to pay extra for a BES server access through carriers..

One thing I have enjoyed about having a iPhone as a personal phone is that I get an upgrade from at&t every year and I sell my previous model for more then I pay for the new one which is weird.

I used to love blackberry but I got sick of fixing it and having a basically unreliable phone. More then once I installed an application and it blew the install to the point i had to reformat and install the operating system again and start from scratch..

It would take a lot for me to trust RIM again for my personal phone..
