Is madison going to be going digital

I am in the process of buying a new scanner and was just interested in knowing if the madison area will be going digital or is it a safe bet to just stay with the 800mz that they are at now and get a cheaper scanner.

The Madison TRS system is secure and Astro ready. All they gotta do is turn it on.

The City PD as far as I know are the only ones with Secure ready radios, or even Astro for that fact. The FD and Streets...etc use non secure radios.
