That's like saying 15 years ago "A Transceiver with a floppy drive built in."

For what its worth, I think hams need to get more involved, in development and in talking to the community about what they want. Else I wouldn't be surprised that the future just holds more digital fragmentation.

The JARL had the right idea years back, working towards the D-Star standard.
