Is there a list a the frequencies used for each Broadcastify broadcast? I listen to the Los Angeles County Fire Department blue 3 feed when there's a nearby brushfire, and I also monitor the blue 3 frequency on my scanner. But today I noticed some differences, there were more Fire Department broadcasts/conversations on Broadcastify than I was receiving on my scanner. So I'd like to double check and find out if Broadcastify sometimes blends in some blue 3 variants into the main blue 3 feed.

Does Broadcastify use exact official frequencies listed in RadioReference, or are there some alternate choices added in? Can I access a list of frequencies that Broadcastify uses?

Broadcastify feeds are hosted by regular members on a volunteer basis, and as long as they adhere to the terms of service, they can pretty much broadcast whatever they like on a feed. Listing the actual frequencies/talkgroups in the feed description is not mandatory, and feed hosts are not required to provide an exact list to RadioReference/Broadcastify. The key is that the channels on the feed should match the feed description, and must not violate the terms of service regarding what can and cannot be broadcast.

To be clear, it's not "Broadcastify" who is controlling these feeds, it's the person hosting the feed who is ultimately in control.

Thanks for setting me straight...so I may have been right that there was an extra feed in the mix. I wonder if it's possible to follow up with the volunteer who hosts this particular feed. It can be real important, when there's a fire in the vicinity, to hear from the people fighting it.

As long as the feed isn't being provided anonymously, you have the option of going to the Broadcastify feed details page for that feed and clicking on the "Contact Broadcaster" link to ask the feed provider a question.

If it is that important to hear a certain CalFire channel, buy a radio that can receive it. They can be had for fairly cheap.
