is there a way to use my usb program cable to make it input audio from scanner to computer

i have broadwave but need to know how to connect it to pc i have a delta 1010 audio card and could do it that way but ill need a jack for it

No, the USB programming cable cannot be used to feed audio to the computer. This question should be in the Live Audio Administration topic but here goes:

You need to take the audio output from your scanner (usually either a 3.5mm mono or 2.5mm mono jack) and feed it into the line-in of your audio card. This is done with appropriate audio cables available from any Radio Shack or similar. You may need to use a stereo to mono cable or adapter since most scanners are monaural and most sound cards have stereo line-in jacks. It depends on what scanner you have and what audio card.

You may want to look at the directions in the WIKI for hosting a live-audio feed. It has lots of information on hooking things up.
