The Durby fire is the biggest one in Montana now growing to 18,000 acres. Located south of Big Timber between Billings and Bozeman. A very rugged area with Montana's highest point down there at above 12,000ft. They have 700+ working the lighting sparked fire. Sunday night 300 homes were ordered for evacuation. Last week they had Interstate 94 shut down for 12 hours between Billings and Livingston, about 2 hours of I-94. Strong East winds have pushed a lot of smoke into populated cities and valleys making very poor air qualites for much of the holiday weekend, Just clearing up as of Mon. evening.
