Well, I'm sitting here working at home doing legal research online and I have six scanners going and hardly a peep out of any of them. One is searching military aircraft frequencies, one is searching federal VHF one is searching federal UHF, one is searching ham bands, one is monitoring a frequency used by several local oilfield related businesses, and one base scanner out of view of the picture is scanning FRS, GMRS, MURS, marine band, and about 120 itinerant business frequencies in four bands and the only thing I have heard so far today is an office worker at a local church that has a private school call for the janitor to clean up in the restroom where a toilet overflowed. Man, its too quiet.

SOMEBODY SAY SOMETHIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNN!

Yes. I am the king of 2500 mAh nickel metal hydrides. You should see all the wall wart chargers I have to plug in the scanners. Two for each scanner. One stays set stays plugged at home and one set stays in my luggage for when I am on business trips.
