Need to look a little bit harder... It's there..

They're operating on 155.2350 MHz VHF-FM Repeater, and they also have that same repeater patched into the Jackson County Trunked system on talkgroup ID 1744

Jackson County, Mississippi (MS) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Click here for Jackson County on the Database, first couple of entries you'll see 155.2350 and it lists it as ACADIAN Ambulance, but someone also noted that it was pending withdrawal but that's been there for over 3 years now, and there is no indication that they're going to stop using that for some time.

Click here to look at the TRS for Jackson County and if you look at Jackson County Fire Talkgroups near the bottom it lists Acadian Ambulance. The traffic you'll hear on 1744 is the exact same thing you'd hear on 155.2350 and vice-versa.

Also if you scroll down the TRS list you'll notice the Emergency Operations Center Talkgroups, Acadian is mentioned again, and they also list a tactical talkgroup for them as well. 1744 is their dispatch and primary channel, and 1776 is their tactical channel probably for overflow and communication between units and commanders.

Yeah Acadian was going to leave ALL MS operations but only left the Rankin County/Simpson County, and the rest of MS ops in a deal with AMR years ago. Somehow they managed to keep the Jackson County operations contract til at least 2010. I believe thats when the contract is up for renegotiation? I will update the DB to show they haven't left yet. LOL

And Milf there hasn't been any news of them being replaced by another company either. Of course we still have a couple of months left until the new year. I do know Jackson County was very displeased with AMR which is why they went with Acadian.

At one point Emergystat was going to take over... As they had so much of MS.. then of course we wake up one morning and Emergystat is... ?? Where?? That's why any EMS/Ambulance agency that wants a contract in MS now, has to go through an act of God, Congress, and ask mommy if its ok, and sign an unbreakable contract to ever turn a red light on!
