I have been listening to Jackson FD get toned out on the conventional UHF frequency for years. 508.1875. I know they have moved to the new 700 mhz digital system for ops communications with OC, Are they still being dispatched or toned out on ANY conventional frequency that a scanner could pick up, I am not hearing anything other then Squad 22-EMS being dispatched out on conventional. I do hear other agencies still being toned out but not Jackson Township Stations: 55, 54, 56, etc.

Program in 463.1875 PL 71.9,it’s the same as the 500 MHz one. You can hear paging over 700 MHz also on TG 5100

I understand that they have a new frequency. My question though Is Jackson FIRE department exclusively being dispatched on talk group 5100 only and not on the conventional frequency and how do we find out that information?

It certainly has fellas. I have both conventional frequencies in my analog scanner and can hear the other Ocean County squads and Fire Departments toned out. It is sitting next to me in my vehicle. The next thing I know is I am receiving a text alert that Casseville FD is responding to a mulch fire or gas leak. Nothing on both conventional Alert frequencies! However the interesting thing is that Squad 22 Jackson EMS does get toned out on analog, but NOT the fire departments specifically Jackson Township stations. I will be attempting to reach out to the OC Sheriff Communications Department Communications Bureau to see if they can shed some light on this.Screenshot 2022-08-27 at 00.39.26.jpg
