I experienced the same problem on STARS Red-1 with my BCD-396T. I then stopped using my PRO-96 for Pro96com and set it to STARS. Worked great. I can hear the radio tech testing with the Jamestown Command post. For some reason the BCD-396T will not pick up voice on TG 0007....the PRO-96 will!

Apparently we are not the only ones having problems with the audio on Red-1. I have been listening to the radio techs for the VSP trying to fix the problem. They had it working last night. This morning they said the link to the EOC was down. The audio on my PRO-96 is very weak.

10:36 A.M. :
The President just arrived and the motorcade is taking him to to Jamestown Settlement. State Police are coordinating the motorcade on 154.665 MHz. Just heard the Park Police on TG 1301 advising the package has arrived.

Red-1 is now coming in clear.

I was wrong...that was the Governor of Va..not the President arriving by motorcade.

I just heard the President's helicopter fly overhead....and at the same time they said on Red-1 that the President was arriving.

On TG 1066, I just heard the "Motorcade" say to LE 1 to shut down traffic.

The same information was passed on Red-1.

On 154.665 MHz, a trooper said that it sounded like the motorcade was loading getting ready to get underway.

On TG 1066 someone said that they were starting in one minute.

On TG 1066 and on 154.665 MHz, it was stated the motorcade was moving.

On 156.475 MHz (boats), they just stated from some of the boats to proceed with the motorcade. Sounds like the motorcade is going down the Colonial Parkway...and the boats are running parallel on the James River.

On TG 1066 "motorcade" advised operations that they were arriving.

PATCOM just said that the replica ships were going to shoot some cannon shots..and not to be surprised. There were about 10 boats that acknowledged. They have a bunch of boats supporting this event.

The President's motorcade is moving again within the Jamestown 2007 area. Sounds like he was at the replica ships and is now going somewhere else. This information was on TG 1066 and 154.665 MHz.

Richmond Times reported that President Bush took a helicopter from Langley AFB to Jamestown. I assume, when he leaves, he will go back that same route.

Apparently there was a small problem. The Jamestown Ferry was moving away from the Scotland Wharf toward Jamestown. A Prince George County security boat saw it and alerted PATCOM. After some excitement, they talked to the Ferry boat and all the Ferry was doing was moving from one docking location at Scotland Wharf to another dock at the same location.

The President's motorcade is moving. VSP 154.665 MHz is on the escort....and the boats are following the route.

Three helicopters just flew over my house. One was a CH-47, the other two were the type the President uses.

On 156.475 MHz (boats), PATCOM is releasing many of the boats, two Virginia Beach boats are leaving along with several others. They are moving some of the remaining boats to other locations. PATCOM is talking to the Hampton Fire boat ...I did not know Hampton had a fire boat.
