"Keep your foot hot on the pedal, son never mind them breaks, let it all hang out cause we gotta a run to make. The boys are thirsty in Atlanta and theres beer in Texarkana, and we'll bring it back no matter what it takes. East bound and down, loaded up and truckin."

Anyone know that song??? Its from Smokey and the Bandit! This just reminds me of that movie. Nice Setup!

I was thinking that your yagi was for searching out highway patrol ahead of you. If you mainly run straight roads, that would actually be a help to pick out radar traps in front of you. But like the other guy said, you would want the elements mounted vertically.

No, it's "Keep the big one between the ditches, and the little one in your britches, and you won't have to worry bout' them things that itches.."

I've been on CB nearly my whole life.

drive safely, great setup, i've probably seen you here in cali. what digits do you cover on your run?

occasionally while gassing up i'll find a trucker with some scanners. it's starting to get popular with truckers.

Is there a single state that doesn't allow amateur radio operators to have a scanner in their vehicle?

Every state that I know much about in this respect does allow scanners for amateurs. it's the states I don't know about, that I'm asking about.
