I'm a regular listener of the Jo Daviess County Public Saftey Feed. Fire/EMS is paged on 155.82 (233.6 PL) Looking through the RR DB and the ULS I see that every FD in the county has a repeater and/or a seperate freq. Since there is never any followup or updates on incidents from the dispatch center (JDCSO), I believe once the FDs are toned out they switch to there repeater for dispatch traffic. I am no where near close enough to confirm or deny this theory, would anyone in/near Jo Daviess County be able to help figure this out?

Listen on the Sheriff repeaters. I’ve heard EMS/Fire call up on there.

I'm not sure about Illinois, but I'm in Grant Co, alot of the departments here use Mabas Fireground Red when mutual aid is involved. I'm assuming the same probably holds true for Jo Daviess

Yea. Every department I know of uses FG-Red for fireground ops. But the freq listed as countywide dispatch is only used for paging FD/EMS

patmcc24 - any chance your friend might have PL/DPL information for 151.220, 151.3775 and 156.135? Inputs freqs for 151.220 and 151.3775 would be a bonus since neither repeater is currently in the database. Thanks!

Thanks for the tone for 151.220 (Fire East repeater, per patmcc24's source); all other tones were already in the Radio Reference database.

I'll submit this to the database, but still lacking a confirmed repeater input frequency. Also missing a confirmed input frequency and tone for the reported Fire West repeater on 151.3375. Is anyone able to help with either of these?

Yeah same here, I here them pretty much all over southern Grant County, I start drfting north of Lancaster than I usualy don't here it that far north. I have a 50 Watt Kenwood and I can occasionaly hear Rockford fire from up here when the conditions are right.
