Does the US Coast guard still use 413.0500 as a station alerting frequency? Or is that outdated info? I remember hearing that frequency very busy a few years back but haven't heard a peep out of it. Have they switched to cell phones?

Do you mean 413.45? Honestly don't know, I do not have that in my MMR scanning files, will try to monitor it and see if I hear anything.
