OK, I've been "monitoring" this website and the one previous to this one before (3+ years now) it all changed over. I'm just curious what type of scanners my fellow Oklahomans use. I only own one. A RS Pro 94A. I've been looking at some of the newer ones but can't find a reason to justify getting one. I'd like to get a Base/Moble scanner that is capable of the Alpha display. (By the way, I'm in the Tulsa Area)

Since Tulsa is heading toward digital I would say get the new Uniden 996 when it come out if you want a base/mobile scanner.

I use a BC785 and a UBC3300 (BC250). I am hoping to get a digital card here soon for one or both of them. they work great for me monitoring local VHF and the Tulsa, Owasso, BA, and Bixby/Glenpool TRS!

Phil,
anyone locally selling the Uniden line, with stock on the shelf? I'd really like to have a new Uniden.

From what I'm seeing, I would be better off to order via the internet. Prices are better. thanks for your help.

There Is A Cb Shack At 161 East Ave And I44 That Has A Couple Of Uniden Scanners, And Also The Qt Truck Stop At The Same Location Has Some Also. I Don't Rember What Models They Have Tough. The Cb Shack Is On The North Side Of I44 In The Old Bruces Truck Stop Parking Lot.

I got both of mine that way and was very happy with the prices!
