O.K so I'm sitting here listening to my brand new DV-1 on a crazy NYC GMRS repeater. The jammers are on fire tonight. Anyway, why is the DV-1 so small? Tiny display and the buttons are all cramped together. AOR, you would have been better served by making the whole box bigger. If you had made the display and tuning knob as big as lets say the Alinco DX-SR9 you would have hit a home run. Oh well, the radio is still fantastic........................back to the jammers LOL

Really pleased you are enjoying the DV1. I know what you mean about the size, but on the other hand its small footprint means it can be used 'portable'. The small buttons, and all those mysterious Menus can be difficult, lol. My only worry regarding the buttons is that the legends on them will wear away eventually, but I rarely have to touch them.

I was always worried about the button legends on my AOR AR8600 fading but I did not have any issues. I am so happy with the DV-1, I hate to nitpick but why the heck is the manual so big. Not conducive to portable operations. Oh well.

I often wonder the same myself. One cannot exactly complain about the standard of the English in the Manual, but it can be difficult to understand. Pleased you have bought eSPYonARD, and I cannot in fairness complain about the size of the AOR Manual, given that of the Program, lol, except to say in its defence its size is in proportion to all the functions it makes available, I guess.
