I have a strange situation with My TM-271A. If I set the offset to negative it offsets positive on xmit, and vice versa for a positive offset!
I have done a full reset and the problem still exists.
Has anybody had this same issue and/or is there a fix for this?!

Do you have the auto offset function turned on? Perhaps the auto function is fighting with your manual selection?

FYI... According to the manual, the auto offset should apply a negative offset from 145.1 to 145.5 and 146.6 to 147.0 MHz, and a positive offset from 146.0 to 146.4 and 147.0 to 147.4

I did 2 more hard sets. The last one I removed it from the power supply and held the power button. I reconnected the power and then did the last hard reset and everything works now as it should.
Strange business but it's back to normal. Now to re-enter all my frequencies.
Thank you for your reply chief21.
