I am using an old netbook for some radio programs. The computers keypad is all but destroyed and the keys constantly stick. Im using an external wireless keypad and was wondering if there was a way to disconnect or change a setting so that internal keypad could be turned off to avoid this. Thanks.

Probably in the BIOS at bootup if anywhere.

If you are running windows you can go into the device manager and disable the Human Interface Device in the devices properties settings. Then reboot and plug in the external keyboard. On some keyboards you can use a very thin putty blade or butter knife to pry up a key board keys to clean the key board.

The keyboard likely has a connector. If you pop it up, you might just be able to disconnect it.
