ARC500: Keycodes

I have been submitting emails to support@radioreference.com for 2 weeks with no response. I have not been able to program my scanner because I have not received my 2 key codes. I show up as a premium member but have no key codes to move forward. I am hoping someone here can please help me. KR4REX

What programming software title (and for which scanner) are you trying to register, and where did you purchase it from?

Did you purchase the programming software directly from Radio Reference as well as purchasing the Premium Membership here?

Arc500. For the Radio shack pro651.I downloaded software and purchased the Premium membership from radioreference,com. I never got my confirmation email or my key codes.

RadioReference does not sell software for your scanner. You buy software from Butel (arc500) , Starrsoft (win500) then you pay for the premium membership which lets you download from the RR database through the web to your scanner. You still have to pay for which ever software you choose to use.

One thing to try.....

When you are logged into the main RR site, your user name should appear in yellow text at the very top of this page you are viewing now. Click on that yellow text, and on the page that opens there are several tabs near the top. See if there is a tab that says "License Keys" (Not the "API Keys" tab)..... Click on that tab if it's there.

I do notnhave a rabbit called licence keys. When I try to buy the software again it tells me I'm already a premier user, it told me when I bought the membership it would send me key codes but I don't have that yet,

One possible point of confusion here......

You mention that you "downloaded" the software and "purchased" the premium membership.

Purchasing the premium membership by itself does not get you the registration keys for the software. The ARC500 software is a separate purchase, and that gets you the registration keys for the software.

The download for the software is a demo that gets you 2 free programming downloads from the RR database. If you are happy with the way it works, you then need to purchase both.

A note from the bottom of that software page:

"If you like the demo software and free database downloads you may purchase the full version of the software for your scanner and a subscription to the database through this web site. "

Upon further investigation, Looks like this is Gommert's baby, has his prints all over it.

radioshack@radioreference.com email is for software issues only, for issues with keys etc you do need to contact support@radioreference.com , I do not monitor that email nor do I have access to RR accounts.
