Does anyone have frequencies for Corps operations around lake Keystone? I can't find anything listed in the DB.

I think it was the GRDA that used to "skip" in when the weather was just right on 453.375. Might give that a listen.

Thanks everyone. I'll take an extra scanner with me and run those freqs and ranges. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Corps Freqs Lake Keystone

I've looked in the Yahoo Groups Federal Frequencies and found only High Frequencie listings, which would not be for local communication.

I hear the Corps folks often at Keystone talking on the local law enforcement frequencies with Mannford PD, Cleveland PD, Pawnee, Osage and Creek county sherrif.

The State Park rangers on Lake Keystone are on 156.015.

163.4375 MHz, not 163.4400 MHz. 163.4400 MHz is an invalid frequency (but you can listen on 163.4350 MHz or 163.4400 MHz if you scanner isn't capable of the proper step size).

That's funny because that is what we have programmed in our VHF radios and I have talked to a CORPS Ranger on that freq on a drowning below the Keystone Dam. We monitor all CORPS traffic all the time.

Invalid freq? From where....FCC? Remember most federal offices are not regulated (wireless,RF) by the FCC, but by another agency the NTIA

Most of the skiatook corps traffic I hear is on the 155.490 state net especially when it deals with emergencies. I think that might be site specific to Skiatook Lake because most departments within 20 miles of here monitor .490. It's the "cool" thing to do...;)

".490" is clearly the C.B. of the Northeastern Oklahoma public safety world. It's like God reached out and modified C.B.'s to operate on the VHF-High band. :)

Bwaaaa hahaha...I know someone who is going to turn my post into a sig now. LOL!

Did whoever that programed the radios get that information from someone from the CORPS or was it from scanning? 163.4400 MHz is close enough to 163.4375 MHz to talk together, but I believe 163.4375 MHz is the correct frequency. I'm pretty sure me and svrstorm are right, but you could be.

I don't believe it fits the proper step size on 162-174 MHz bandplan. I know the NTIA regulates federal agencies.

The 163.4375 is correct per 12.5Khz step for Fed Band I lived at Lake Eufaula and used to listen to them all the time. There's a couple of other freqs I got my info from police calls directory.
