There's nothing new or pending on the FCC website for Keifer, could it be licensed to another area entity?

I got that info from a ex kiefer officer who is a telecomunicator for the city of tulsa. All he could tell me was it was a repeatered system and that
some of the creek co Deputies were using it cause it was bettere than their system. I will try to invetigate further later this week.

lawman--

I also cannot find anything licensed under the City of Kiefer. However, I have some things you might check if you are in the area. Creek County has a new UHF license for Emergency Management--WQAF276, 453.375MHz (repeated).

Creek County also has some VHF frequencies that are licensed to the County Commissioners. They have three (count em, Three) repeaters on license WPVN639. One is near Sapulpa on 156.240MHz (input 151.025MHz). Another is near Mannford on 156.000MHz (input 158.995MHz). And the third is near Bristow on 156.225MHz (input 159.060MHz).

I can think of no reason why the Creek County Commissioners would need three separate repeaters to repair the roads of Creek County. I have no idea why they would want the expense of maintaining three repeaters. I suggest it might be possible that they have repurposed the frequencies for other uses in the county.

That's just a suggestion. You might listen to those frequencies and see what you hear. BTW if you find out what they are using them for, I'd love to know. I can't hear anything that far out unless the atmosphere is just right.
