Isn't this the first VHF P25 public safety user for Indiana? I have monitored VHF P25public systems in other states and in general they sound pretty good.

This was done to cover the purty new APXes they have for SAFE-T, now they can use them P25 on the backup VHF freqs as well if they wish.

I have 2 questions MILF, 1. I think the Blackford Co. has did something like Knightstown, I only live 2 miles from our SAFE-T tower and there is NO comparable(BLACKFORD) Traffic compared to THE Old SAFE-T system. The county applied last couple months for 3 new vhf frequencies. 1 of these channels has no traffic, except for 1 has MOTORBOATING on it. 151.325. QUESTION 2 where the database page for APCO-P25, where it shows all the site listngs, Cities and frequncies, there are a few freqs inbetween all the cities with NO location? Do you or can you program the closest one near my citiy for a CC? Everything else I have programed is burning both scanners up with traffic, Bearcat 996XT, and RS pro-197 scanners
