KSC P25phase2 control channel signal strength..

Noticed since around Christmas the main system control channel strength went from 2 bars to zero... the Shiloh system control channel is Same strength 5 bars as usual here in Volusia county.... 406.4625 think the frequency is that dropped off.. system would decode fine and now nothing.. checked the other freqs on the system too to see of control channel changed and hadn't.. anyone else notice it seemed to lose its signal strength ?

i think it's atmospheric conditions TBH. I have noticed the same thing and I am closer to that system than you are. Btw, most of the traffic seems to come from the "radio shop" site, which for whatever reason carries most of the traffic and has a better signal.

Yea I can't really get the radio tower up here.. like the weather warnings there mainly .. I prob gonna have to find a 380-420 mhz beam somehow or fabricate one or a dual 5/8 nmo antenna for that band too..
