Do you have more than one site programmed for Post 9? There might be a site in your county that is the only programmed one. It could be having a "mechanical issue" and simply is out of service.

Usually most posts will have a transmitter in each county of their area, but on different frequencies. The magic of the system is that they all transmit on different frequencies. KSP radios will listen to all those frequencies and select the one it gets the best signal from.

So if you program all the frequencies (both A and B channels) for Post 9, you will probably hear something.

Yea I’ve got several but the only one I’m close to is probably 4-5 miles & the rest are 15-20 miles. I’m thinking that one is down atm. Either that or my scanner has took a 💩

15-20 miles isn't too far away.

You can always do a weather scan as a quick diagnostic to confirm your scanner is receiving. (Probably a good many of the NWS transmitters are using the same towers as KSP though different frequencies, etc.)

I kind of doubt it may be the firmware. When I upgraded firmware a while back, the scanner developed a clicking noise on conventional digital systems, KSP in particular. I rolled the firmware back and the noise went away. The Uniden folks did some work on the firmware and the latest version is working fine for me.

I get KSP posts 4, 5 and 12 here in Jefferson County, just fine with the latest firmware.

At any rate, if you look at the thread below, you will see somewhere, how to roll the firmware back to a previous version.

Without seeing your config file or anything like that, there's no possible way we can help you to know if there's a config issue or something else going on.

That being said.. I wonder if they are doing work on this end to facilitate upgrades for SERVS. I originally only had 14B Ashland in my feed because there was no way to filter by NAC and keep WVSIRN out of the feed.. but I AI-coded NAC aliasing into SDRTrunk and re-added a bunch of 14, 8, and 9 towers, and I feel like there's more traffic now. So maybe there's some simulcast links down right now, or it's just that... slow.
