KY Nat Guard Reg testing time?

I was monitoring yesterday and heard a station(s) testing radios.
Does KYNG on their VHF digital system have a regular time of testing, weekly, monthly, daily? Or is it just hit or miss depending on needs or wants of the user.


Most operations of this type have some sort of regular testing these days.

Ok, yesterday was about 2 PM, radio called several times. Will try to catch the tests and see if I can find more NAC codes.

At midnight last night the mysterious FG freq of 162.910 was doing a radio check and called about 6-8 units, just when they went to clear the air, I moved my scanner and only heard Command Center clear. I will try and listen again tonight if I am up then.

or tape record? Evan if up, I would tend to doze off.
I hear ramps, sliding gates being called out and such... it the NG airbase at SDF that big.
I know they have Tricare there, so apparently so.

The only have a small area that they are responsible for. Should only be one or 2 gates and none of them are slide gates. They do have ramp but it is only the ramp/pad that the c-130's sit on. I still think it has something to do with the Federal Building(s) between Broadway and Chestnut and 6th and 7th. Because they do have slide gates, ramps into the rear of the Federal Building and I would imagine numerous officers working. There are 2 swing up arms in front of the Mazzolli Building and at least 3-4 slide gate between the Court House and the other building.


I know, it seems I have too much time on my hands but spent many years driving by those buildings several years ago.

Nope...won't be Metro Corrections...First you get to see the basement of the Federal Courthouse....then you get an all expense paid trip in a grey van to oldham county jail....Why there, don't really know...
