Tuesday morning I think it was, I hear Phoenix alarm dispatch "LA 151" to a seizure call on Olive Ave in Glendale.
A few minutes later, Engine 157 is special called to it.
What unit is "LA 151" or am I really mishearing things?

I saw it a few days ago, not sure what it is or what the designation stands for. It was a Glendale unit (not an ambulance) and looked like Medic 157.

LA151 (Low Acuity) is a new unit intended to reduce the use of emergency apparatus for non-life threatening responses.

Thank you Dave. Is this similar to the unit in Chandler that is dispatched on similar calls? I can't recall the designation of it now.

You're welcome John. Yes, earlier this year I remember hearing of Chandler implementing two Low Acuity units, staffed by 2 persons, one of them being being a dept paramedic, to handle non-emergency calls like fire alarms & minor emergencies. I'm on the West side (Glendale) and don't know of those two units designations either. Ok, back to my insomnia, . . I mean scanner listening.

Doesn't Mesa have something like that? I've heard "Community Paramedic" followed by a number on their calls. They're used for less severe emergencies when ALS isn't needed and BLS barely is.

I know I have heard Community Paramedic Units in Buckeye, Chandler & I think Tempe. I remember a news report about the program from a few months ago. They are staffed as stated below with a Medic & FF, being sent to low priory medical calls.
