LAFD is out with some radio channel assignment changes. The Db has been updated to reflect these changes already.

> Ch.1 and 2 will be swapped between Bureaus. Ch.1 will become South and Ch.2 Central.

> West Bureau will now get its own dedicated channel - Ch.13

> The Future Use Tac-19 and Tac-20 will become available for use once all radios have been reprogrammed.

> For above-ground incidents, Tac assignment order will be 14, 18, 19, 20, 15, 16, 17, 12

> Command channel assignment order will be 10, then 11.

> Integrated use of trunked STRS talkgroups is possible as each bureau and battalion now has assigned talkgroups

Is there an EMS tac channel (what channel 10 used to be used for)? Or is it just channels 1,2,3 depending on which bureau the call is located in?

There is no dedicated EMS channel anymore. If a resource needs something from an ambulance they will do it on the Bureau tacs now.

As LAflyer mentioned, the new bureau tacs are 1 (OSB), 2 (OCB), 3 (OVB), 13 (OWB)
