Hello all,

According to the RR DB, the Lake County Sheriff's EDACS sysem site # is 01. I do not know if this is correct or not - I am trying to program a M/A-Com P7100IP for RX only, and when programmed to the RR DB's specs for the system, the radios display " CC SCAN ". I believe I have everything else set correctly.

(Sorry, I'm new to M/A-Com / Harris radios - I'm a Motorola & Kenwood tech by trade, so this is a bit foreign to me...)

Thanks

Ok, got it figured out - the Site # is incorrect. Now to find out what the correct Site # is for this system.

If it's a single site system, the site ID number is probably "1".

In my county we have a four site EDACS simulcast system. Site IDs are 1, 2, 3, and 4, going in the order
the sites were commissioned.

I've got it figured out. The correct Site # is 03, not 0 (the RPM software only accepts a value of 1-31, so 0 is incorrect period for any EDACS system) This was confirmed on a P7100IP and by a friend who works for Harris.

I submitted an update to the DB.

Actually the Site ID is 0, the System ID is 3. Different numbers and purposes. Non-network systems will have 0 for the Site ID usually.
