Radio traffic in Los Angeles should start getting pretty active in a few minutes. As always so called "fans" will probably start rioting in the streets of Los Angeles. I am sure police cars will be burned and damaged again just like the last time they won the championship. Get ready to have your car rocked back and forth if you are driving around the streets of Los Angeles.

Sounds like a lot of LAPD units have staged around the Staples Center. Hopefully everything stays peaceful. Already hearing problems though on LASD frequencies.

Altadena/Crescenta Valley I think their they are on 483.4875...I only heard something about rowdy fans in Lakers Jerseys, but I have not heard anything since...not even on their LTac.

A couple of fires have already been started but not out of control though. I just heard that LAPD is asking for help/reinforcement from neighboring departments. I think things are starting to get out of control. I'm listening to radio comms right now.

There's also another large group of people marching in East LA. Hopefully that one won't get out of control.

What in the hell is wrong with those people? They are throwing rocks and bottles at police officers. What idiots.

From watching this on TV, looks like the officers are very thinly spread considering the number of hooligans out there. I thought they would have a much larger police presence.

Time to break out the tear gas.

The NBA is a jobs program for the kind of gangstas who would riot any way. The Lakers are just an excuse to do it now. A lot of those basketball players are punks just like their fanatical followers. LAPD central tac has been on my WinAmp player since the game ended. Hard to believe that the police still have a pile up on this channel at almost midnite; but the dispatcher has commented about it a few times...

Bratton on TV saying all is well....just a couple people causing trouble. What a joke! And the mobile field force in West Bureau took an hour to arrive, the one in Valley Bureau took over 90 minutes...since they werent formed up at the start of trouble.

Even Metropolitan Division didnt arrive until much later (since Bratton and City Hall hung the MacArthur Park mess on them)...and then operated on their own...

Seems like no one wanted to take any type of action, in fear of a lawsuit...or getting sacked by the politically correct later on in the process.

One of my friends, who is a window glazier, is working on the Ritz Carlton right there next to the Staples Center. He said several buildings are cover with graffiti after last night "celebration". Such a pathetic situation. The victory parade should be cancelled...maybe that would teach the "fans" a lesson.
