Lakewood FD & EMS

Did Lakewood ever move to their trunked system? It has been a few days and not a peep off Lakewood EMS & FD 453.125 & 453.650?
Last I checked the system was a ways off from being built out.

Thank you all- I have reprogrammed my radios. I have yet to hear anything with the new P25 channels/ NAC codes programmed. Are they lower power? I used to get the analog channels very clear in TR- now nothing since Thursday.

Not sure what they did.However I had to move my antenna some to get FD!!!! EMS is good

Lakewood PD #2 is NOT encrypted???Just heard them MVA. I could be wrong

Channel 2 is used by police towing (Unit 20),was never encrypted.

LAKEWOOD FD going P25

Rumors have it that Lakewood fire department is switching over they're 450MHZ system to a P25 PHASE 2 system. I spoke to the lkwd fire chief, but there is no actual real info regarding what type of system they will use. will they go 500 or 800MHZ? Anyone that has info regarding the system...
