Many may or may not know, but in the very recent past the director of LCWC Michael Weaver had retired, and last year the Deputy Director of LCWC Tim Baldwin had retired. With that being said I have been told that Ann Weller is the interim director till a replacement has been found. She has been there 40 plus years with the County of Lancaster. A lot of longevity and a person that has hands on experience from the ground up to her current role.

There is rumor that LCWC is planning on going to P25 Phase 2 and is not going to go any further till a new Director and Deputy Director are found There are also several other individuals with the County that have 30 - 40 plus years that are getting ready to retire. I've been told that is projected to more than likely push the "Go Live" six months to a year.

It will be exciting when the County aligns itself with the surrounding counties and goes to Phase Two. Its been a long time coming and I'm not sure why they didn't do that in the beginning instead of now having to play catch up to the rest of the area.

I thought I replied earlier but guess not.

Anyways, as someone who was at LCWC recently and left after 4 years. I am curious what changes they will make with the new people.
Ann got moved around lol. Ann became Tim, then became Mike.
Sara became Ann, then I guess she became assistant. That moved changed right after I left.
Very curious If they come up with a system that allows them to dispatch everything at their backup location.
Right now when they did the flooring, call takers and police could goto the backup location but firebird had to stay behind because there is no way to dispatch that elsewhere apparently lol
