Seems that Topanga Division took over about half of what used to be West Valley. What are the current borders of West Valley? Looks like Corbin on the west, but what is the eastern border?
On the east it's now the 405 freeway; WVal was essentially just shoved east by Topanga, and took over the big (and busy) chunk of VNys Div that was west of I-405.

Boundaries are, with a few small detours, Roscoe, I-405, Mulholland and Corbin. Map at http://www.lapdonline.org/assets/pdf/WestValley_RD_09.pdf

That NavigateLA map list shows the correct stuff in the top two citywide maps, but besides Topanga, its division maps list also doesn't show Olympic Div, which opened the same day as Topanga, January 4, 2009, the first day of Deployment Period 1 of 2009. Olympic took over pieces of Wilshire, Hollywood, and Rampart.

No, it’s missing “Topanga” Division. The map for “Devonshire” still shows Roscoe as the southern border. However, Topanga’s station is located NORTH of Roscoe, in what, according to this map, is Devonshire’s patrol area. How can that be? When Topanga was created, the southern border for Devonshire had to be moved up, as well as the northern border of West Valley moved down. This map is not current.

A little bit of digging turned up an older post from a few years ago, where it was stated that the northern border of Topanga Division is Plummer and the east border is Corbin. I haven’t found where the southern border between Topanga and West Valley Divisions are.
What happened with Topanga's opening is that Devonshire "gave up" its southwest corner west of Browns Canyon Channel (between DeSoto & Kelvin) at Roscoe, and got a kind of "stepped" south border from there west to the City limits. At the same time Dev's east border was pushed east to the 405 and ate up a decent hunk of Mission Division. But east of Brown's Canyon, the south border of Devonshire was and still is Roscoe. This before-and-after map is small scale, but it should help, I hope
.

Devonshire's new S/W corner as of 2009

I'll shut up after this. Here's a little better look at the piece of land north of Roscoe that Devonshire donated to Topanga (so Topanga station wouldn't be located in Dev Div).

Another way of looking at it, on the previously mentioned Topanga Area map at http://assets.lapdonline.org/assets/pdf/TopSLOJan2015.pdf Reporting Districts 2101 through 2107 had been part of Devonshire Area before Topanga was created. The red dot in RD 2105 is Topanga Station.

Topanga Division goes all the way south to LASD Lost Hills area.
Yes, Topanga is bordered by County area along its entire south and west sides.
