I am working on another Larimer County DB update again. This one will include Unit Designation information for the Codes & Maps tab and some minor maintenance type updates on frequency info.

Heres the frequency info that is to be added, changed, corrected, altered.

151.280 151.280 123.0 PL Lory State Park Simpex
The current entry shows the input as 151.250 which is the output to LC PARKS-2 and incorrect.

154.010 156.7 PL Loveland Fire Dispatch
The current entry does not list the PL tone.

Poudre Valley Hospital
461.975 466.975 192.8 PL Hospital Security
The current description is incorrect, after monitoring this frequency at regular intervals I have determined that their security staff are the users.

A whole batch of updates on the Colorado State University section. The university has moved away from its intermittant use of 460.050. The current plan is to retain the licences for 460.050 and 460.150 and keep them as back-ups to the DTRS.

453.400 458.400 100.0 PL F-1 Campus Recreation Ch-1
453.6125 458.6125 100.0 PL F-2 Campus Recreation Ch-2
453.575 453.575 100.0 PL Lory Student Center Operations Management
460.050 465.050 107.2 PL F-1 CSU PD DTRS Back-up (Primary Repeater)
460.050 460.050 107.2 PL F-2 CSU PD DTRS Back-up (Talkaround)
460.150 465.150 107.2 PL CSU PD Back-Up (Tactical Repeater)
461.050 466.050 CSQ South Campus Paging
465.000 465.000 CSQ Vetrinary Teaching Hospital Paging

Front Range Community College - Larimer Campus
461.7375 466.7375 118.8 PL Public Safety
Identity confirmed! Thanks mpg0515!

Great job! Unit designators follow a pattern: 4 is a Berthoud, officer, 5 is a CSUPD officer. 9 is a LCSO deputy-not positive about the others.
The pvh security is a contract company-Hospital Shared Services. Good one for heads up on med helios.

Yea, I have the basic countywide scheme down and all of the info listed has been confirmed as correct. But i cant figure out the lettering scheme for Berthoud.

I have the following letter designators for Berthoud but cant place them to a shift or other assignment. I believe they might be assigned to specific officers.

Bravo
Charlie
David
Edward
Frank
Victor

they all have a 1 as a suffix. example: 4 Bravo 1.

I only see one error in your listing. The 460.150 repeater has a tone of 156.7 for some reason instead of 107.2.

And for the 900 unit identifiers, I did not see EDWARD units. Those are town/mountain deputies. Like here in Wellington 9Edward39 or 9Edward38 up in Livermore.

Berthoud is nothing special. Since they are so small I think that all except 4Victor1 are all just officers. 4Victor1 is the Chief of Police. I am pretty sure they don't have any supervising officers or anything like that, i.e seargent or lieutenant.

Again, great list!

Yea, I dont know how I missed the 9 Edwards, that must have been a bit of oversight on my part. I will add the Victor unit for berthoud as well (that one should have been obvious to me).

The 460.150 should be 107.2 as PL. I just read it out of one of the radios the other day. If they are showing as 156.7 it must have been a fluke. I will go back and reconfirm though just to make sure.

[edit]: My apologies, it appears that you are correct. 156.7 it is then.

In the several years that this repeater has been on the air, I have only heard it used one time when there was a riot several years back. Now of course it doesn't get used at all. Kind of a waste of freq allocation if you ask me!

As I understand it, 460.150 was shared with FRCC with CSU PD dispatching for FRCC during the day and using it as a tactical at night. Im not too clear on the history here, but I believe that when FRCC gave their remington campus buldings to CSU, the use of the frequency declined into only being used as a tac.

The university is planning to keep the licences and repeaters on the old 460's up as a backup in case the DTRS fails, but has wholly moved to DTRS as their primary communications. Housing, Facilities, and other departments are slowly phasing out their UHF equipment in favor of Nextel/Sprint, it is unknown at this time what will happen with their UHF licences and repeaters.
