Saw this fire coming home this evening as we exited the Big Thompson Canyon. From what I could see
while traveling east on Hwy 34 and from my QTH this appears to be just North of the Reservoir Road fire from last year. Hopefully they can use some of the previous burn area for anchor points.
Last report I heard is what Jimmn reported about 3 acres.

Also hearing traffic on Larimer Co Mut Aid 1 (4054)

Yeah, East Division was moved to Mutual Aid 1 about an hour and a half or more ago, West Division was on VFIRE 21.

Heard them talking about how they can't release city resources to work on it tomorrow until after 10:30 due to POTUS visit.

Beartrack Fire

Given this incident the name "Beartrack Fire".
Resources still showing up. Probably because the local resources can't be used until POTUS is gone.
The POTUS sure can create a bind for firefighting in Colorado, look at the Waldo Canyon fire.

updates as I hear them.

Where was the $10K a plate, dinner?

Whole bunch of Native Coloradoans at that one who grew up in Northern Colorado, I bet. Parking lot full of Pioneer license plates to run. ;) ;) ;)
