Last Call Announcment

This afternoon on in St. Louis County CCE-911 made a last call announcement for a firefighter who's carrer spanned many years and departments.

I found it interesting that I was able to monitor the announcement on SLATER TG 100 as well as the old VHF Central County west departments on 154.220. I am guessing it also went out over the SLATER North fire and South fire dispatch, though I did not hear that specifically.

Just wanted to say the kind words were heard on many channels in the region.

TG 100 might have been a patch or perhaps an Announcement Group. Isn't 154.220 still used to dispatch Meramec Ambulance?

Not sure on Meramec EMS. I know central County is always dispatching them site by side with Pacific fire. There are very odd boundaries out that way. I think three fire districts and Meramec EMS cover both StL Co and Franklin Co. Sometimes I don't know heads from tales out that way.

I think CCE911 does a VHF backup test once a month or so. They may use 154.220 then.
