Is there some way, we as users, can reset the message read flags?
I'm not even really sure why you'd ever want to force them to change, but I understand it's set for 30 minutes, then poof, as far as RR is concerned you've read everything.
Very rarely does it become an issue. I set my screen saver for 20 minutes. If it kicks in, I know I'd better do something or else loose everything.
Tonight was one of those rare occasions. I had to tend to a minor emergency totem pole school project repair... and got back to the computer exactly 31 minutes after I left.
And Poof... every new message in every forum has now been marked read and I have to manually sift through 3 days of threads to try and figure out what I've read and still need to read.
Anybody care to guess how many posts are left here in 3 days?!!? A LOT!!!
In a word.... AAAGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lindsay, please save my last little bit of sanity and set the Mark it Read function or whatever it is to only mark a post read when a person reads it??!! Please??!!!!!!
In the meantime, I'm off to see what I missed in the last x thousand posts. If I can figure out which ones they are.
Thanks
Bob
