Anyone know if Lectron Radio is still kicking around? I've always had a positive experience dealing with them, along with RadioWorld. Hell, I'm old enough to remember when "the Shack" carried an entire selection of scanners and related equipment. Those days are LONG gone...

Yes Lectron are definitely still around (in Peterborough). They are the authorized Uniden distributor/repair facility in Canada.. Other radio stores actually buy from them.

Just got my 996T back from them after a check over and tune up. Very easy to deal with.
