I don't have the 897 yet but you can bet it's next on the list.

Only prob. I have with Windowblinds is that it hooks with svchost. So if you ever see a firewall alert for Windowblinds, you'll know why. You block it and because its hooked , explorer goes to hell. (Not IE)

Been running Object Desktop for eight years now, and have never had any issues, except when I used mcafee. Since I found better security software, I have had no issues.

of course, I always run legal copies of the programs and maintain my subscription to OD to ensure all updates, maybe that's why I am not having issues.

For those unaware to get a snapshot of your desktop:
--In Windows Press Control (Ctrl) plus Print Screen.
Then open Paint and select paste. Save file as a jpg.
--In OSX (or other Mac OS) press Shift, CMD, 3.
Marshall KE4ZNR

You can also go to the start menu, type in "Snipping Tool" and there you go.

My desktop using Nexus docking software by Winstep. Really like the docks for keeping my desktop clean. Just wish they didn't gobble up so much memory;-(

Nope, it's documented that WB hooks with svchost. I Googleed it....

Well, I can't find the source. But it makes sense because it probably has to interact with one of the SVC host processes. I never had a problem with it... the firewall did. Actually, my permissions were to stringent with an older version of Comodo. That version had trouble with certain permissions.

Here you go! InjectedDLL

Description
===========

InjectedDLL is a small utility that displays the list of DLLs that are
automatically injected on every process in your system.

BTW- You can requests my current Hijackthis log at any time...

My current injections.

Oh I believe the hooks are there. I just am not now , and have not in the past had any difficulty with any of the programs. I trust the company , and feel confident that as long as I have enough ram to back it , it'll work without issue (unless I am using a beta ver, in which case I report any issues immediately. )

Bottom line , I can't stand the gui Mr.Bill gave us, and go out of my way to keep as far from that look as I can. Most other gui modifications out there are detrimental to the windows os, Stardock has worked extensively with MS to keep things running smoothly.

Most ways of modifying windows are detrimental to the os in general, this program is the safest I've found. but at this point, I am sounding like an advertisement, so I'll shut up.
