I don't know if it's my on board USB but when I tried to connect my Kraken (essentially five rtl chips) to my Linux machine I get the above error. Google didn't really help.

I'm using the kraken to feed my Calls node on a laptop but I know it's struggling sometimes. I'm trying to push the stream off into the Linux box which has a better processor.

If I connect a single RRLSDR Blog V3 to the computer it works fine, but the system I monitor is very busy (right now I have 22/30 calls a minute).

You probably need to increase the number of usb buffers. Search around the forum... someone just posted about it very recently.
Here's one discussion I found from a while back:

Thanks I tried a search on the forum, I promise Lol. I switched over to two Rtl-sdr sticks and so far it's covering the whole network. 30+ calls a minute at times.

On my Kerberos, I could throw a switch to turn individual tuners on/off. Does Kraken have that? Might be a software switch....

A better machine might be able to stream the data from each tuner through your network to individual computers.
