AM Air Traffic Control for your area.

Generally you may hear them at Lift-Off from a Scene or Hospital Call on their VHF and/or UHF Channels
but the Aircraft to Hospital will likely be on 155.2800 or 155.3400 [PL tone varies by Hospital]

Dispatch will be phone [if on the ground at the Base]
YMMV and the only true answer will be from you attempting to monitor

Thank you I'll try monitoring those. Database shows 451.77500

Hogwire56,
They fly over my house in Gray quite often especially to and from Maine Med from Lewiston. If you plug in 453.65 PL103.5 you will hear the comms between Lifeflight and dispatch (Medcomm). Also, I would recommend listening to 155.325 which is what they use to contact Maine Med when inbound with a patient. Another good source is to listen to Portland Jetport Tower 120.9 as they instruct them when they are landing and taking off from Maine Med. Lastly, they often use Statewide Fire 154.31 when coming into an accident scene or landing zone to communicate directly with the fire/EMS personnel on the ground.

Hope this helps, happy listening!

Thank you for the information! I'm going to program those in.
