Has anyone heard Lifeline coming in and/or going out from Hulman Field? I do know it has been used becuase I've seen it at accident scenes... There Freq for Indy is 155.16000 but in Vigo County that is the same Freq for school buses so that won't be in use... Are they just using the airport freqs? I've been unable to hear them, I have been listening for them on the airport freqs....

I live in Greenwood and hear them on 155.1600. Often I hear as they are dispatched to contact fire on XXX.XXXX. Then Lifeline will contact that fire agency for further information. When Lifeline lifts off from the scene they will report back to Methodist typically with how many on board, time on fuel, ground speed and eta. They will also report back the stats on the patient(s).

Having said all of that, I don't know if you would hear them lift from Methodist. I'm sure you would hear them talking to the fire agency on the ground in your area, but I'm not sure if you would hear them calling back to Methodist when they leave the scene.

Someone else could probably jump in and answer that.

Not sure about areas south of Attica/Williamsport, but, here in Lafayette, using a rubberduck on a 246T I routinely get the following:
PHI Air Evac Indy, Base and Bird after lift off: 159.9000 C186.2
In the Williamsport/Attica Area: Landing Zone Activity: (IHERN 1) 155.3400 and (IHERN 2) 155.2800
The Bird is vectored by INDY BASE to the Scene, and coordination is usually on one of the IHERN Fregs. for landing. Do you know who is the contracted aircraft for the Lifeline? I can start listening here. I think they are the same as the Kokomo IN contract.
