When I was in Lincoln last month, I put Shaffer in the scanner, I am pretty sure it was LTR. I will let you know by Saturday what they are for sure.

I agree, it looks like Shaffer is an LTR system. I had it programmed as LTR from the start, but there doesn't appear to be much activity. Also, sometimes a talk group will briefly flash but will not stop.

Anyone know about Aero Radio or what type of specific trunked system it is?

I listened to Shaffer's today and I didn't hear any data or LTR type items. It maybe I was there when the system wasn't busy. Sorry, I am not help.

Location
Nebraska
Aero Radio

Aero radio seems to be a federal agency specifically to set up radio systems. They seem to be a govenment entity that sets up radio systems for many different critical locations.

Web site link www.arinc.com

They have also been constructing radio systems in Kearney and Norfolk recently

Very interesting web site

I looked at some ARINC systems in other states to find out what type of trunking they use. Looks like a combination of Motorola 800MHz Type 1 and Type 2, but many are switching over to iDEN.
