Can anyone remind me how one links to a specific agency in the database? Each one has a unique ID, and you can plug that ID into the URL and it'll take you to that location, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. For instance, I want to link to

Alamance County Talkgroups (Category 12125) within VIPER TRS (SID 4087) within State of NC (StID 37).

As an addition to this request, how hard would it be to add a means to "permalink" to each category or agency in the talkgroup/agency category menu? That way if someone wanted to point out a specific agency or listing, they can click the small arrow by the listing, copy the address, and post it where they need.

I see some similar features in the wiki extensions and API extensions, but never found anything on a simple link to specifically listing a database entry.

Thanks!

Hmm, At first when I tried this it did not work, and the URL to point to that should be:
Code:
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=4087#tgCid-12125
But, when I tried the link, again, it worked, so maybe I mistyped it at some point.

In any case, that is the format of the URL and I think that is what you were asking.

The easiest way to get this to work is to click the Tag Talkgroups link under the Subcategory Menu (on the regular DB page, not the admin section). It will append the #tgCid to the end of the URL and refresh the page, jumping to that subcategory.

Works for conventional subcategories as well, except it appends the #ctid to the end of the URL.
