Was Listening to the AM Broadcast bands tonight and picked up a few stations.

It doesn't help to make the video private....

Your MFJ loop will, enable you to null out one station for another. That's something you can't easily do with a simple wire

Sorry I did not notice that the video was set to private, I now changed it too public.
I get stronger signal with the long wire then my loop.

This is a mistake a lot of people make - don't go for signal strength, go for the quality of the signal. If, for example, I was listening for an Euro AM station, it's likely a US broadcaster would interfere, creating a het. A loop can help in separating the 2 (along with whatever receiver tools you may have). The Euro station would certainly be weaker than the US one, but that shouldn't be an issue. You can do the same thing with graveyard channels.

I listen to a lot of utility frequencies and the stronger the signal the Better it is sometimes. If I use the loop antenna, I cannot even see a signal.

Then something is amiss. Maybe the amp died? Critters ate into the coax (yes it does happen)? Time to check a few things before the winter really gets going
