I got my whistler last Saturday and since then I have gotten little chatter. I live in Houston Tx and thought I would be getting chatter 24/7. I took my radio radio outside and down the street while moving the squelch back and forth as per Zip Scanners video. I called Zip Scanners and they told me to send them the programming done by Zip Scanners. I have been waiting two days. I have until tomorrow am to return my radio for a full refund. I took my radio over a mile high bridge and through Houston. Still very little chatter! Is that all I’m going to get? I have all of Harris County and HPD Texas! A couple of times, I got crystal clear reception for a call out for a fire and car wreck but nothing after that. I expected more chatter. Is it me or my radio? I am getting ready to send it back tomorrow am. Also, I paid a lot for this radio for so little chatter. Really disappointed.
