Questions! Does anyone know the control channel for the Elba site for S&P communications? And secondly theoretically could I program Luverne, North covington, dozier, and lapine frequencies under one site. That way I could have one quick key for Crenshaw county! Same for Coffee and Covington?
No, I would put each into their own site BUT you can assign a single quick quick key to all sites

Here is a list of the S & P sites that I have. All but 3 (21, 22 & 23) are in the RR database.
Some CC's change most don't. All subject to change of course. Not much encryption, hope
it stays that way.

Any idea why on the Luverne site it is stopping on TGID:2000 which the red says is county sheriff's but I hear no audio. Does that mean it is encrypted?

When it cools down and I get a better signal from Luverne I will sit on it and see if I hear
anything on TG2000. I am western Houston county and Luverne is in the fringe of my antenna
during the day. Do you have your scanner setup and hear anybody at all?

Wolfpit (?) I get TG2000 Crens Central in the clear, no idea why you don't. S & P site 5 Luverne
is neighbors with the S & P site 5 in northern Crenshaw and southern Crenshaw site 4 so you will receive
everything on all 3 sites I believe. The neighbor thing is an unknown thing to me, I don't know how it works.

Thanks. I probably just need to listen longer. It stopped a time or two on 2000 with no audio. I will listen more. I have got coffee county and Covington county now programmed and getting good reception. I appreciate y'alls help.

I have another question. I have frequencies with lcn numbers such as 51, 52, 53, 54. Does it really matter as long as they are in proper order? Could I set the lcns as 1, 2, 3, 4 and would it scan the same? Reason being as according to the fcc website there are several sites that have one additional frequency that I don't have programmed into the sites (5 freqs instead of 4) I would like to add that freq either on the end or the beginning and see if I pick up more. Otherwise I will just have to try different combinations to get the correct lcn order.
