Live Audio System Conversion Status Updates

Ok folks,

Gordon and I will use this closed sticky to provide updates regarding the audio system this week.

1) We've now gotten the archives up and running and recording properly, including the associated maintenance. That issue has been fixed... hurrah! (fingers crossed...)

2) We are going to hold off doing feed up/down notifications for the next few days as we iron out the kinks. We might bring that online sooner but we're going to be patient for now

3) New audio feed applications and approvals will be limited until probably later in the week. We have about 20 feed applications - and we might approve just a few of them to test the end to end process. Be patient as we work this week.

Archives are now correctly working. We had a minor issue from this morning to about 2pm CST resulting in 5 min gaps of the archives. All is well now.

For those that have asked about feed stats and listener stats - stay tuned, they are coming.

Folks, we rolled out a bunch of updates and fixes today (6/24/2009)

1. Feeds relayed from other servers are now back online
2. Top 20 feed displays location information
3. Latest feeds added displays location information.

We'll probably turn on feed problem and up/down notifications later this afternoon.

More updates Today (6/24/2009)

1. Feed Owners will receive notification of problem reports by default to their primary profile address (you can turn this off on your feed owner page)
2. You can selectively choose whether to be notified by primary email, or secondary email, neither, or both for feed down notifications.

Notifications are now active....
