Last time I visited Lloyd (2013) they were using PACS I believe on 139 MHz analogue. Since Lloydminster straddles the AB and SK border; are they using PPSTN or AFRRCS as their primary communications system? I'm sure they're encrypted regardless of what system but I was just curious as they have talkgroups on both systems.

Lloyd city is probably on AFRRCS since they were on PACS, I sure wouldn't be surprised if AFRRCS and PPSTN are connected, they are both Harris Vida P25 systems, and we share a border. Another possibility is the radios in the detachments that border Saskatchewan, might also have PPSTN programed in their radios. This is all speculation, as I don't have the answer.
