On 2-25-22, I identified a talk group on the Lacy-Lakeview Public Services System. The talk group was 201. This is an info talk group. I submitted this today.

I saw the LLV RR DB page and found new talk groups. I don't know who you are, but I greatly appreciate the help. I have LLV on ID search. I am thinking of doing the same with HOTRRS.

Well, it appears those work.

Now if we could only figure out Baylor…

I guess I have more scanner listeners in Waco than I realized. Years back, I learned that Baylor PD was using AES. Therefore, I don't know if they are still using it. Furthermore, I've never ever heard them on HOTRRS even thought they have a talk group.

I wonder when LLV will transition to HOTTRS... hmmm... Hopefully they will stay in the clear.

I believe the LLV system predates HOTTRS if i am not mistaken. If Moto issues SYSIDs sequentially, this would support that theory. 3C3 vs 572. The real question is why is it VHF and who thought it was a good idea for the Woodway system to get waivers to put frequencies in the marine band.

I don't recall when HOTRRS was launched, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that this happened at the same time Woodway was working on their mess. Both Woodway & LLV were installed by Bearcom. Both systems experienced problems. Woodway had to go to a Galveston auction to purchase paired marine frequencies. I will check with a source to see if he has heard anything about new plugs into HOTRRS.

I just looked and discovered new talk groups on LLV. Thanks to all.

I just don’t know why for being a town of that size, they wouldn’t just be all analog/non-trunked.

I figure Woodway probably has more money in their budget than LLV… lol

Oh, yes! In fact, the officers are triple-certified. They can even give enemas to those full of it.

Woodway has loads of money. However, I will have to say, they have some damn good officers who are even friendly. I frequently hear them talking about finding weed. When they do, they destroy it on the side of the road. Waco PD and McLennan County don't do this.

Oh, they are very stealthy as well. I have driven on my bicycle and car, and they are extremely hard to spot at night. They roost along the highway 84 corridor. The vehicles they use blend well with the night.

I am a left-handed mutant. I live in my "right mind." Thanks for the like.
