Are we allowed to trade/share our .p96 files here?
I'd love to get advice and tips from some of the other Suffolk/NY scanner geeks more advanced in the hobby than me. I never know if I'm setting up my Win96 files right, and if I'm optimized for best listening. I know some of it comes down to preference, but if anyone is willing to look at my .p96 files and give feedback I'd find it helpful. I'd also love to try yours out if we're allowed to do that!
I have my banks set up like this:
0 - SCPD and DMS, 1 - EHPD and Fire, 2 - NCPD, 3 - LIPA, 4 - Schools and News, 5 - HAM, 6 - (nothing), 7 - Railroads, 8 and 9 - Marine (though I think some of my frequencies are outdated)...
Most stuff I get is obviously on 0 and 1, though since reprogramming today I'm getting very little fire activity... could just be a slow day...
Also... to "Delay" or not to... what's your preference? Right now I have delay shut off on all freq's...
